ラマディ'10年1月の国内避難民支援（電気ヒーター）

（ラマディ郊外の）タミーム地区の避難民（幼稚園跡）を訪ねました。家族数が増えていました。親戚たちが加わり、部屋をシェアしていました。ほとんどがバグダッドから来ており、人々はバグダッドは以前より安全ではなくなったと考えています。もうすぐ選挙が行われることもあり、爆弾事件などが多発し、不当逮捕も増えているそうです。
人々は食料価格の高騰に苦しんでいます。食料配給が滞っており、今月はミルクしか配給されませんでした。メディアは、食料配給システムの業者によるトラブルで1月と2月は食料配給なしになるかもしれないと報道していました。これにより、闇市での食料価格が高騰し、1割程度高くなっています。
私たちRYGは、ここの家族たちが寒さの厳しい1月を乗り越えられるよう、電気ヒーター（ハロゲンヒーター）を配布することを決めました。ここは、古く壊れていて、すきま風の入るような建物で、子どもたちは風邪をこじらせ、呼吸器の病気にかかったりしています。
この建物内に住む家族と、建物周辺の数家族合わせて50家族にヒーターを配布しました。どの家庭も収入がまったくなく、ほとんどが夫を失った女性たちとその子どもたちであることがわかりました。

We visited Tameem IDP (old kindergarten).the families there increasing, some relatives joined them and sharing their rooms, most of the families came from Baghdad, the people think that situation in Baghdad is not safe more than before. Because of election will take place soon and explosions increased, unjust arresting increased as well.
People struggling about prices of food increased, basically because of shortage of food distribution, this month the government supplied Milk only , and the media said that there was delay happen by contractors of food distribution system that could be caused no food supply for January and February this year, so food prices in black market jump with high price more than 10 percent for each basic item.
RYG already planned to provide the families there with electrical heaters ( halogen heaters ) to help the families in cold weather that started in January , the families living in open damaged building ( old kindergarten) and basically kids got cold and breathing diseases.
Our heaters supply covered 50 families who staying in this building in addition to some families who living around, we made sure that these families have no incomes and mostly includes widows and their children.
