マダイン地区中心部での支援物資配布を終えた後、マダイン地区から10kmほど郊外にあるジャーラ村に行きました。

＜マダイン地区を訪れて＞
この地区にはたくさんの夫を亡くした女性たち、孤児たちがいました。
2003年から2009年にかけて、この地区は米軍の攻撃を何度も受けており、多くの男性が殺されました。これが、この地区にほとんど男性がおらず、女性と子どもたちだけである理由なのです。
彼女たちは、子どもたちを抱えてなんとか生きていこうと必死です。
住民たちは、イホネットからの支援をとても喜んでいました。
愛と感謝を伝えてくださいとのことでした。

(原文)I saw many poor ,widows and orphans there
Madaen and Ja'ara have been attacked by US army many times and from 2003 to 2009 and that caused to kill man people there and that is effect on these two area condition and that why I saw many women and very few men there and the suffer to survive them selves and there sons
